Great Job to Everyone at the Lane's End Farm Show ! The Blue Fox Farm crew had a great day at the Memorial Day Weekend STHSA Show at Lane's End Farm. Leigh Weinberg and Lori Riberi's Halo took Champion of the Novice Equitaton Division willing all but one of their classes. Teri and Leigh Weinberg's horse Ace took Champion of the Baby Green Division. Karyn Guerrero and Oscar had a great day in the Adult Novice Equitation ending up with a third place in their last over fences class. Sophie, owned by Jim Barkley, put in three great over fences trips with Robin Meckling in the Low Hunters. The pair won their Adult Equitation O/F class. Alex and her pony Dragonfly did well in the Crossrails division winning one of their O/F classes. |

The 2009 Blue Fox Farms Christmas Show was a great success! We even had great weather! Our dressage section put a lot of work into their quadrille. Congratulations to all of our riders for helping make it a great day! Thanks to Karen Brown, Karen Kemper, Robin Meckling, Audrey Worthington, Sharon Trainor, Tricia Trunek, Rebecca Joines, Lori Ribera, Karyn Guerreno and any others I may have left out for all of your help! Farewell, Paradona Paradona was a beautiful thoroughbred mare close to 30 years of age at the time of her passing on Sunday October 25. She was a mainstay at Blue Fox Farms for the past 15 years where she ruled the back pasture every evening at turn-out time. She was a mare with an opinion on everything and she wasn't afraid to share it! Everyone always knew what was on her mind, including her pasture mates, who she always kept in line! She was very fortunate to have had the most caring owners, Renee Coffman and Tim Hall. Throughout Paradona's career and retirement, they were always there for her. Seeing them hand grazing Paradona, taking her for a walk around the farm or just spending time with her was not an unusual sight. No horse could have asked for more caring and dedicated owners. Our thoughts are with Renee and Tim in their time of loss. The Blue Fox Farms Family will miss Paradona greatly. Donations in Paradona's honor can be made to Lone Star Outreach to Place Ex-Racehorses (LOPE Texas). |

GO Jeepers! Congratulations to Teri and Jeepers (Gulf Rising) on their second place finish in the IHF Three Year Olds Under Saddle for the IHF Mid-West Regional Finals at the GO Show in Oklohoma City, OK. Jeepers appeared to be a seasoned vereran at his first competition and we're sure he'll only continue to get better. Keep an eye out for Jeepers at the Texas shows this fall! You won't want to miss him!! |
