Blue Fox Farm is proud to offer Gulf Rising starting the 2010 breeding season! He received his Certified Breeding License and first star with the Oldenburg NA receiving an impressive overall score of 222.0 in August 2009.
Gulf Rising comes for proven bloodlines known for producing world class hunters and jumpers. He is a powerful and graceful young colt that shows endless potential, incredible athleticism, and magnificent attitude. Gulf Rising's sire line is the world famous Hanoverian G-Line. His pedigree traces back to the infamous Grande through his sire Gulf Coast and grandsire Granduell. His dam, Rio Elegante, is sired by Elite Hanoverian Rio Grande. Rio Grande is one of the all time leading sires of hunters and jumpers in North America siring well known hunter champions Rio Bravo, Eye Remember Rio, Rio Renior and Rio Bronco to name a few. |

Gulf Coast was USDF Regional 1st and 2nd Level Grand Champion before retiring to breed. After four years off, he started his career as a hunter. Due to his world class pedigree, he had incredible jumping ability, movement and disposition which he time and time again passed on to his get. He has sired winners in jumpers, hunters, dressage, and eventing. Gulf Coast was a gentleman, a character in the barn, a surpurb athlete and a world class sire. His legacy will live on in his wonderful offspring and in the near future his son, Gulf Rising, will be available to carry on the bloodline. Not a day goes by where he is not tremendously missed.
